After adding spice and sugar to the milk, and letting the tea leaves paint the color of chai, what else is there to add? Well, without the ingredient of love, the chai will taste odd, and incomplete. Patiently stirring the chai and waiting for it to have the correct density requires love. You have been waiting for the moment to take the first sip of the chai, and the aroma of which will fill your heart, and you will know, that after all, chai is a creation of your own experience showered will love. The sweetness of life becomes sweeter with it, and the spice loses its better taste in the creamy foundation. Love transforms life.
Affan makes life better:
A good life is laced with love and unconditional support. These pictures might not show the struggles of being immigrants in the U.S. and the adversity each one of us has faced, however, it shows the immense amount of dedication and love we have for each other. These memories we made capture the beautiful portion of our lives, with the addition of my nephew, life only gets better. This journey of a good life is nothing without the people who make sure I apply love and dedication to every action but onto myself too. Their love for me is the secret ingredient of my good life.

Love is not expressed with words in my family. We express our love by making each other a hot cup of chai, or by massaging each other's hair with coconut oil. While reading this gratitude letter to my sister, I felt as though I was unleashing years' worth of memories. She laughed the entire time, but her eyes were glistening. She is my role model and the sacrifices she has made for me made me who I am today. Although a good life is nothing without adversity, she kept me sheltered and passed down her life lessons to me. Her act of altruism and selflessness has shown so much love. My good life is nothing without her contribution. This gratitude letter was the least I could have done.
Love Language:
I took the love language test recently. Initially, my love language was acts of service, however, it changed over the course of my relationship with my partner. Love comes in different shapes and forms, and it can transfer throughout life. A good life is about being aware of one's love language. Ever since I have started receiving gift unexpectedly, I am becoming more aware of our bond and love for each other. It is making my life a good one.
